1927 - 2021

Age 93, of Lilydale Passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 6, 2021. She was born March 11, 1927 in Pontiac, Michigan and adopted by Harold and Rosella (nee Sears) Bauer. She worked for Hubbard Broadcasting, Mckee Inc., and Ryder Auto Transport before retiring in 1993. She loved to read, watch the Vikings and Twins, and travel to new locations. In the last decade, she enjoyed going for walks with her friends and volunteering her time with Meals on Wheels, the Church of St. Peter and as an election official. Donna is survived by her children, Robert (Theresa) and Kari Heir; grandchildren, Jessica and Samantha Heir; and brothers, Daniel (Jan) and John (Jackie) Bauer. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lyle; and her sister, Connie. Donna was a devoted wife, a loving and involved mother, and treasured grandmother. Funeral Services will be 11 AM, Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Klecatsky and Sons Funeral Home – Eagan Chapel, 1580 Century Point, Eagan, MN 55121, with Visitation 1 hour prior at the Funeral Home.
