Fern NELSON

Age 100, passed away peacefully April 9, 2016. She is survived by three children, Daryl (Cindy), Marjorie Riemenschneider (Richard), and Rita Lijewski, seven grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, all 10 of her siblings, son Glenn, and her husband and best friend for nearly 51 years, Morris. Raising the children and maintaining a farm outside of Willmar, MN, Fern and Morris lived a life dedicated to family, friends, laughter, hard work and faith. Visitation at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar, MN, April 21, from 5~7:00 pm. Memorial service Friday, April 22, 11:00 am, at First Covenant Church of Willmar, with an hour visitation preceding. Private interment. Fern's family extends special gratitude to Pastor Rich Johnson for the many visits he had with Fern while she lived at Lyngblomsten Care Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Fairmount Avenue United Methodist Church.
