So sad to have just learned of Frank's death. Through the years I have often thought about Frank. I had the honor of working with Mr. Hoff at the Maplewood Mall Hoff Jewelers. Frank did all of our watch repairs. Every morning that I was there, he would sing to me. He always had great stories and knowing how in love with the jewelry I was, Frank was always offering to sell me an old diamond, either mine cut or european cut. He was never anything less than a complete gentleman and always had a smile on his face. He built the Hoff Jewelers name and gave it such a status like quality that made it easy for us sales people to sell. It was truely one of my favorite jobs ever and he played a very big part in that. A true gem of a man.

A wonderful man in every respect and a close friend of the Schumi family. It was an honor to have known him these many years. My mother and I are grateful for the opportunities we had to visit him several times during the past few years. His greetings and smiles were always uplifting.

WHEN I GOT OUT OF SERVICE IN 1953 I WENT TO FRANK TO REPAIR MY WATCH AND HE WOUND UP SELLING ME A DIAMOND AND WEDDING RING SET.HE WAS A GOO0D MAN
