My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.
Fred was as nice a man as I have ever met. I can't remember a cross word from him, and I gave him enough cause.
I can see him at our baseball games, watching quietly, while chaos reigned all around.
I have so many great memories of the house on 9th St. and feel quite fortunate to have known Fred and Muriel.

A few Summers ago Pastor Boyce, Fred and we took a ride towards Stillwater. As we turned north on highway 95 we asked Fred, "Do you know where we are going." Fred replied, "The (Family)Farm", which is now O'Brien State Park. It was a pleasent day with lunch in the tavern at Marine on the Saint Croix. Fred survived the Battle of the Bulge and for weeks wore the medal given him at the State Capital grounds during the WWII commemoration a few short years ago. Fred married a wonderful lady both of whom were always found pleasent and uncomplaining. Our sympathy to your family.
