I've known Irene for about 10 years. I worked at the property where Irene lived up until about a year ago. I loved it when she would swing by the office just to chat or talk about her family. She

always had a smile or a joke to tell. She will be greatly missed!!

I will always have fond memories of working with Irene at Byerly's. Heartfelt sympathies for all who have Irene as a mother and a grandmother.

Aunt Irene put the "funny" in life. Anyone who has had anything to do with her...knows this. ;) The first time she pranked me, I was ~10. She wrapped a lovely present for my birthday. Wow, was it heavy! Every kid knows, heavy=great present! Well, my expression must have been priceless... when I opened a shoebox full of rocks! Boy, did she have a laugh on me--and you know how her laugh is infectious! I still don't remember what the "real" present was, but I'll never forget that one. Thanks Irene, for living 1/2 block away, for us kids to grow up together, having a ball...imagine 7 kids & 2 moms crammed in a mustang(?) going to White Castle...or swimming @ Owasso countless times in the summer. I'll never forget all the fun things we did and the ones I heard about. Irene was just a fun, happy person to be around. This world was a better place with her in it. Now, the angels get a turn! In tribute, we'll keep the "funny" going.....down through the generations. I know she loved having all her kids around her for the last 2 mo. (she said as much), and Kudos to All that took such good care of her. Condolences to Linda, Mary, Dan, Ron & all significant others and kiddos.

Love,

Laura, Ernie, Lisa, Kent, BamBam & Augie.
