Jimmy, we had a good mother's day. The boys made me wonderful gifts in shcool. We had a nice lunch with your mom. I had a wonderful nap and the boys were so very loving and helpful. Your mom had a good day too! We all love you so very much, Thank you for watching over us, we can feel you near us. Everyone is being so kind and we are surounded by so much love honey And the Lord is taking really good care of us. I have lost my voice 3 times now since you have been gone, I can't stop crying. I know you are in a good place, I just miss you so very much. I will see you again, but not yet, I need to raise our boys first and hold our grandbabies. I love you Jimmy! Thanks for taking such great care of us and for loving us and for sharing your life with us! Love always, your Nazy Rae

Mrs. Eide,
My sister Linda called me yesterday to give me the sad news of Jimmy's call to go home. What a wonderful tribute from Jon and how sad to hear of his passing so soon afterwards as well. I guess they couldn't stand to be apart. Jimmy was much younger than I so I didn't know him well but I know that you had a wonderful family and that it was a privilege for me to grow up in the same neighborhood with you. My heart truly goes out to you and I mourn your loss with you. May God walk you through the grieving process and be your constant companion. With Love and Sympathy, Greg Lokken

Brother James,
So many memories. All I need to do is look around my home, and I see you everywhere. The kitchen counter tops, the walls we removed, the work we did is everywhere. I feel blessed to have gotten to know you. Row eight for the Stars playoff games, the trip to Lake Superior with the Dalmatians. That evening, when we came off the lake. The sun was setting, the full moon was coming up, the little cloud and the lightning show, and then going under the bridge, past that humungous ocean going vessel. What a day that was! I knew it was a one time deal when it took you four hours to vacuum their hair out of the boats carpet. I learned so much from you about carpentry, and about car motors when you rebuilt the motor of the white car. I miss those days, but will cherish those days, and the days on the softball fields. I am praying for Lanae, Mitchell, Matthew, and the rest of your Family. As you know, your service was awesome! The songs were incredible! And I thought about you a lot on Easter Sunday, so happy that you came to know the risen Christ. The promise of eternal life, talk about an awesome gift. Till we meet again my friend, may the Peace that comes from knowing Christ be Your!
In HIS grip,
Brother Terry

Few people loved fishing salmon as much aa Jim. He was good at it. He was safe and had the patience of a saint. I will miss fishing with him.

Jimmy was the first kid in our neighborhood that I idolized. He was left handed and had a first base mitt, could take apart and put back together any car engine, his dad radio or his moms appliance and always let us little Lowenberg's play in the games of the season (street hockey, football, baseball in the sand pit, hockey behind the gargage, etc.). Jon Hagstrom's note said it all. Our prayers are with you.

I, like Jon, have fond memories of Jim going all the way back to grade school. I was notified tonight of the very sad news by Pat O'Brien, another childhood buddy of Jim's. We remembered and spoke of Jim excelling in Math and other subjects and the fun the three of us had in the reckless innocence of 3rd grade. After John Glenn and North High Jim and I lost touch, but he holds a special place in my memory and the world is a sadder place without him in it. My thoughts are with all of you in this time of deep loss.

What can I say about my childhood best friend. It went beyond just childhood into adulthood. Jimmy, as he will always be to me, was my best friend, and like my brother I never had growing up. Discovery... We spent many a day in our beloved swamp discovering nature and all its beauty. From the sand pit where we played with all our Tonka trucks to the ant hills. We would pack lunches in the summer and go discover our world. In the fall was cardboard sliding and we would go searching for a tossed out box on garbage days (some one in the neighborhood got a new appliance and we would take the box to ride down the dry weeded hillside). We would follow the garbage truck on our Schwinn bikes each week and chat with the garbage guys thinking what a cool job they had... In winter the swamp was always racing down the hill, sometimes 6 at a time in our red sleds, or skating on The Eides self made rink behind the garage and during school days street hockey. Not to mention all the different forts made. Some like igloos others very methodically in a tree which Jimmy was the engineer behind our madness...Discovery. It seemed we were inseparable whether playing L.L baseball or Southlawn VS. Bittersweat behind the Frohriep's house. Climbing trees by the old farm house or walking along the creek then to the Handy Pantry for candy. Playing summer games at night like redlight greenlight or statue maker.I was always excited on the first day of school, especially when I found out we had the same teacher. It was almost a given. Discovery...One of my favorite memories was on a foggy Thursday we went on a walk with Arnie. Jimmy was so happy that dad was home for thanksgiving. We went to where they were building a new road (beam Ave) and Mr. Eide took us there and let us climb all over the big road construction trucks, Discovery. As we grew older we golfed and went to Tucson with another friend Jeff W just to get away from winter, golf and enjoy some new adventures...Discovery... We made many discoveries to a place known as the B.W.C.A. Jimmy would laugh his hardiest in nature (usually at me for my loon photographs), but loved nature, respected it knowing someday he would want to bring and share this passion with his children. I have to many memories to recall as I would take up the whole guest book. Jimmy I do not mourn for you as God has called you to your fishing boat in Heaven, I mourn for all of us still here and the discoveries that were yet to be made. God bless You Marcy (mom #2), Linea, Bob and the rest of the Eide Kids and family as you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Nazy Rae, my cousin and good friend...you are in my thoughts and prayers. Sometimes it's very difficult to understand God's plan. Rest assured knowing that there is indeed a plan, and He is holding you close through this difficult time. I love you...Al
