I can't believe a whole year has passed without Jim in my life. So many changes and transitions to go through without him but I always feel his presence and encouragement. Many tears but so many happy memories for the years we spent together

Kathy,

I was just going to check in with you and Jim to let you know that Kay had passed on January 24th. What a shock to learn that Jim had passed also, and so close to Kay's passing. I hope that Jim helped her through the transition as he would have been the one to help and probably do it with a joke along the way.
Jim was the best to work with and almost was my partner in business. I recall the fight for the monthly award for the highest sales and the trophy. We fought harder for the trophy than the money! When I left I kept the trophy which I still have.
I have so many stories about Jim that I could go on forever but need to let you know that he will be forever in my thoughts and prayers.
I can unfortunately say that I know what you are going through and if you ever need to talk please do not hesitate to call me! 612-670-6408

I will cherish memories from all the get together and parties at your house with the Twin Cities roadsters. His laugh and his wonderful sense of humor. Kathy, I just today heard Jim died. I feel so bad that we did not know as we would have come to his funeral. I cared for him as very special friend. He was just a great person. So sorry you have lost your best friend. I hope your kids and grandkids can help fill the empty space in your life. Love to you old friend. Ken Nielsen and Marilynn Peters

Dear Kathy,
I have the vision of Ron greeting Jim with a big smile and both of their bodies fully healed from the affects of their strokes. Renewing their HVAC connection. And missing us as much as we miss them.

Hi Kathy. There are so many memories in the 60 years Jim and I were best friends I cannot begin to count them here. From meeting Jim for the first time at Stadium Lanes to racing his '62 Corvette to Jim and I being on a pit crew at the NHRA Divisionals at Brainerd, to fishing on Mille Lacs and ducking hunting at the lease in Western Minnesota to Deer hunting in Northern Minnesota. We gun broke his dogs for hunting and I stood with him as he cried when he lost one of them. Jim was Best Man for me at my wedding. We drifted apart as friends often do when families and children become important and suddenly life happened and I heard he had a stroke and I searched for him at several hospitals and you, Kathy, answered the phone in his room and as always, Jim and I picked up our friendship like we had never drifted apart. Well, as painful as it is to lose him, I am so thankful we were able to renew our friendship and we were able to laugh together again. Jim was always terrific at telling jokes. There are some great things being said about him here and he was all of that and much more. My wife, Patty worked for Jim for many years and they are together now and I suspect she has already taken charge up there. I will miss you, Jim but we will someday be together again. I love you, Brother. Kathy, just know that you were the best thing that ever happened to Jim. If you need anything, call me.

Kathy,
I´ve been thinking of you and offer my condolences on Jim´s passing. I have good memories of many times I´ve been with you guys, but what comes to mind is New Year´s Eve at Duluth and Jim so loving to attend Annika and Kaia´s dance recitals and visiting afterwards at Jason and Karla´s. He will be missed. Take care.

I only knew Jim and Kathy a couple weeks. Over the years, I have had many patients, a handful have left an impression, and Jim was one I will never forget. What a testament to love and faith. It was a pleasure. Blessings and peace to the family.

We will miss him here, but know he is helping in Heaven somehow! He was a great person, friend, mentor, worker, family man, and brought many people to know Christ through his actions and example. Love and hugs to all in his family.

There are not enough words to tell how much Jim meant to me. He was my second dad, but even more importantly, a dear friend who took me under his wing when I was lost and broken. It is difficult to convey into words what I feel now losing two dads. I guess the fact that I was so lucky to have two men in my life who truly loved me like a son is a blessing. Jim will always have a very special place in my heart.
