Janet Ann "Jan" TOMASINO

Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Sister Passed away suddenly on December 8, 2023. She was born in St. Paul on October 12, 1943, and was 80 years old. Preceded in death by parents August and Leona Rosenberger, husband Greg Tomasino, son Jerry Todora Jr. (Junior), 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Survived by loving daughter Jody (Kenny) Srock; sisters Ila (Sig) Schneibel, Alice (Don) DeVaughn and sister-in-law Marlyce Rosenberger; granddaughter Megan Gilson, grandson Jeremy Anderson; 5 great grandchildren; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Jan graduated from Johnson High School in 1961. While raising her two children, the family lived in St. Paul, Lino Lakes and Shafer Minnesota. Most of her employed life she worked in clerical and receptionist positions; her last job being the one she enjoyed the most. She got immense pleasure working for and with the people/students at a Charter School in St. Paul. Jan loved people and until recent years, was often on the go with friends and neighbors. Janet provided special care and support for her mother when they lived at Neill Hi-Rise. And in her last years she found some joy in watching/ shopping on QVC and HSN. She loved and continued to mourn her husband Greg who passed away May 29, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024, 12:30-3:00 p.m. at DeGidios Restaurant, 425 7th St. W., St. Paul. A presentation and sharing of memories will precede a luncheon. Private family interment.
