Joan Wagener Obituary

Age 79, of Shoreview/ White Bear Lake Passed away on March 16, 2012 after years of living with Alzheimer's. Preceded in death by parents, Martin and Nora Borstad. She leaves behind her husband of 56 yrs, Terry; their children, Todd, Paul (Linda), Wendy Ness (Mark); Grandchildren, Brad, Chris, Nick & Valerie; and brother Rodney Borstad; sister-in-law Lynn Zwiener (Tom) and many other relatives and friends. Joan loved her family and being "Grandma Joanie"; she will be deeply missed! Visitation will be held on Thursday March 29, 2012 from 10-11am with her Celebration of Life service at 11:00am; followed by a lunch, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1660 Birch Lake Ave, White Bear Lake, MN.

Joan and I were high school classmates. She was so much fun! When I think of Joan I see her darling face, always with a big smile........and friendly to everyone. I thank Roy Dauman for sending on news of her death.

My thoughts are with you. Wendy, your mom is finally free of Alzheimer's and is surely celebrating in heaven! I remember so many fun times and how much your mom liked to "be silly" with us.
