Dear Teri, Chris, Nikki and Tommy,
It has been a long time since I've seen you (15 years?) and just wanted to say having wonderful neighbors like you was a big part of my childhood. I have fond memories of Mr. Boland and know he will be dearly missed. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Terri and Family,
We want you to know that you are in
our prayers and thoughts. Terri, your marriage was a witness to all
who knew you. I'm sorry I had to
miss the mass celebration for John.
We had a family Christmas party today. But know that you are in my
daily mass prayers. Your former

Dear Boland Family:
I remember John, or as he was to me my neighbor growing up on Glen Oaks Ave as respecfully "Mr.Boland". He was always a very friendly man to me and my family and we new him best as having the best lawn and landscaping on the block! When I was old enough to finally be able to mow our lawn, I could never be able to keep up with Mr.Boland and make our lawn shorter than his at our property border! I know when I played football and baseball in his backyard with Chris, he had many reservations as to how bad we growing athletic boys were tearing up his lawn! I also remember he loved to grill out on the deck/ BBQ and was quite the cook if my memory serves me right. All my best to the family, and know we all will miss him dearly!

Terri and family,
I am so sad. What a wonderful guy. I'll always remember when John coached our girls Como Rec softball team. He was so much fun. God Bless.

Being a neighbor for only a few months, it’s amazing how much of an impression John and Terri have bestowed upon us. We are very saddened for the passing of John. It was always a treat to come home and see John fiddling around with something, having him stopping over to say “hi,” or starting off a conversation with “Well I’ll tell ya’ somethin’.” He was always in wonderful spirits and good humor. John and Terri were a big part of our decision to purchase the house. We met John the day we looked at the house and he talked to us as if we had been his neighbors for 30 years. That’s the kind of person he was and we will never forget the time we were able to spend with him. And for that we would like to say “Thank You John,” you and your family are in our hearts forever.

Terri,
We are so sorry for your loss. We always enjoyed talking to John out in the driveway, while he was shoveling, mowing, painting mailboxes, etc. We enjoyed getting to know you and John better at the Halloween Party we were at. He will be missed. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
