John EICHINGER Obituary

Age 72 was embraced into the loving arms of our Lord on July 18, 2015. John was born and grew up in St. Paul where he spent much of his youth outdoors creating a lifelong bond with nature and her creatures. During those years he was active in sports, school and church activities, YMCA camps, the Boundary Waters and was an Eagle Scout. He later graduated with a degree in business and made a career of designing and implementing information systems. Much of his married life included church activities and many a memorable adventure with loving wife Fran and family. Throughout his life he shared his creativity through poetry, humor and more efficient and respectful ways of traveling through life. He was preceded in death by his parents Melva and Clair Sr., brother Clair Jr. and son Michael. He is survived by his wife, Frances; step daughter, Katrin (Ryan) Rollins; granddaughter, Maehle Irene; sister, Judy (Dale) Heffron; sister-in-law, Nancy (Clair Jr.) Eichinger; a niece, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm, Tuesday, August 18th at the Presbyterian Church of the Apostles, 701 East 130th Street in Burnsville. Interment: Millet Cemetery in Sumner Township. Memorials preferred, in John's name to Presbyterian Church of the Apostles in lieu of flowers.
