To all my O'Keefe cousins, Your dad was a remarkable person. As a child I think he was always my favorite uncle. I can still see him walking you guys to mass on Sunday. I loved him and I shall treasure my memories. This is such a sad loss for all of you.
With love,
Susan

John O'Keefe -- A wonderful person.
He went through many heartbreaking situations, but never let it show. I will always remember his exceptional manners, kindness, generosity, wisdom, intelligence, humor, and his love for the common person.
He truly will be missed.

Dear O'Keefe's,
I'm so very sorry to hear about your father. He was a special man. And our parents (and us kids) shared so many memorable times together at the lake. Another of the "old guard" gone. Please keep in touch. Condolences from all of us McNally's (the remainder of the Irish Navy on Gull Lake...)

We had fun years living next to the O'Keefe family on Lake Harriet. Also the many lunches with John at the "chapel" on the second floor of the Athletic Club. Sorry to miss the memorial service but we will be at our lake place. Our condolences to the family. John McNulty
