John was a neighbor of mine for many years when I lived in Roseville. He was also a colleague of mine when I was teaching at Kellogg high school. He was always an upbeat and friendly guy. I enjoyed the many conversations we used to have together. He also was in charge of setting up our soccer fields when the fall season began . My condolences go out to you and the family.
