To Joyce's Children and Family, I regretfully just learned about your Mom last night. I am so out of touch with my old friends. But I ran into one last night who told me this very sad news. I grew up with your Mom and have nothing but great and fabulous memories. When Joyce was around there was always something wild and crazy and always, always great, belly hurts, laughter. Marie , Joyce and I were quite a trio back in the day. I saw her at the 1980 class reunion and she talked about her kids with the greatest of love. I am sorry I haven't met any of you. I said my goodbyes today at her final resting place. I was not surprised that I had to look up to see her. Please know you have my deepest sympathy. I will think of your Mom often. She is certainly among the angels. Joan Hutter South Saint Paul

Dear Sam, Ted and Jack . .
I was so grieved to hear of your mom passing. I tried so hard to sell your home before this all transpired and am sorry that this did not work out for all of you. But it was so sad to lose touch and have no way to find out how your mom was doing and then to discover the obituary. I am heart broken to say the least.
I will always hold dear to me all of the fun times we shared . . . dancing at Rodeo, going out for dinner and dancing with our mutual best friend and comic Mary, coming over for the Easter egg hunts, helping frame those gorgeous paintings from Mexico, going to lunch with your mom at TGI Fridays and splitting the Jack Chicken! And who can forget the times I dropped off my two boys so Sam could watch you and y'all ate pizza and watched movies. I can remember SO many hilarious times together.
To watch you three grow up and become young adults was a pleasure. I am proud of all three of you and wish you the happiest times in your life ahead. I am especially proud of you, Sam, for your extended studies in La Universidad de Mexico . . . you're going to go a long way in your life.
I don't have many words of comfort. It has to be very difficult to lose your mother. I am just so sorry that you have to go through this. The good news is that you WILL go forward in your lives with happy memories of a caring mother. Don't ever forget those times.
If you ever need anything you are more than welcome to call me.
I love all three of you.
Your friend always,
Mark

I just found out about Joyce's passing and am deeply sorry for your loss. She was such a "spirited" person. Seems only a short time ago we were planning a class reunion with her help. My deepest sympathy goes out to you.

Jouce, I will always remember the days when we were young, we had so much fun. Your laugh and carefree lifestyle will always remain in my heart. You are with Jesus now and at peace. I will always be there for your family when they need me. Your daughter Sam is so beautiful like you in so many ways. Your sons are so handsome and have your beautiful eyes. Now its times to say good bye until I see you again someday. You always gave me strength and now I must use it to let you go. I will always pray fou you my friend. I love you my friend! to the Murr family. I am so sorry for your loss and i am truly sorry I was out of town and not able to make the service. You do not know me but I use to dance with Joyce at her favorite cowboy dance club. She taught me how to dance to country. We shared a few wonderful years there and a wonderful summer on the St. Croix river boating. She was a lover of life and her family. I know you will miss her deeply as will I. Very seldom do you get a chance to know a person as great as Joyce and I feel very blessed to have had that chance. I wish you all great memories and the comfort they bring. If there is anything I can do to help please feel free to contact me.

I have fond memories of Joyce from way back in High School. Joyce made me laugh with her adorable eyes and big bright smile. Last time I saw her-she still had those eyes and that big bright smile. I'll always remember her that way. May God be with the the loved ones who are feeling the loss of such a cool, nutty, bright and lovely person. I only wish I would have seen more of her. Till we meet in Heaven Joyce--may you rise above the clouds and soar to your new home--save me a spot on the detention cloud--I'm sure we'll have one just for us.
May God comfort her loved ones

To all the family and friends of Joyce I express my heartfelt saddness. Joyce and I had many fun times through out our teenage days and a few as we were adults but as you know we all tend to our own families and what once was is now a memory. May she rest in peace and the Great Spirt let her rein in the skys above watching over her loved ones.

Samantha, Teddy, and Jack,
You do not know me, but I know you through the many wonderful things your mom shared with me. She loved you very much and was so proud of you. I was one of Joyce's clients and friends------she gave the best facials!! There aren't words to express my sadness and sympathy. May God bless each of you always.

Jack, and Family,
Words really cannot help the feelings you are all going through right now. Nor can they express the hurt our hearts feel for you.
Please know that although she is in heaven, she is not far away. May your memories light your path and warm you heart in the days to come.
