Mom.... Thanks giving has passed,Christmas has passed,its New Year's Eve 2014,and you are heavy on my mind! The holidays ARN'T the same,the family is getting smaller,and trying to enjoy such occasions has become a real challenge... Oooohhh how I wish all of the loved ones are better off where they are compared to where they were. I still have not accepted the fact that they are gone but realize they can't be reached!!! My prayers help me along but my heart is still weeping! You all are heavy in my thoughts and are greatly missed... I shall love you until my end of days!!! Never the less you can never be replaced,and my heart will allways feel the loss of your presents!!! I love you mom.. I miss you dearly... I grieve with you in the loss of your Mom, June. June was a great friend and counselor to me. I have been so overwhelmed with my own loss of my husband Art and life in general that I wasn't able to keep in very good touch with you and June during these last few months. The fact that spiritually I know June understood is my greatest comfort. I am thankful that you were able to be with her during the last months and care for her. I know what that is like since I did that for my husband and it is a very important time to share. Art and I spent many years learning about ourselves with June and Paul. We both thanked God for both of them. Blessings, peace and comfort to your family.

Hi Nanner's and family.
June was such a huge part of my pre teen and teen years, she was the "cool Mom" and always had good advice for us....even though we thought we knew more than her.
Nancy, you should be so proud of how you helped her this past year, she raised a beautiful daughter. You did this with such great poise and clarity. I'm so darn lucky to have you in my life. Love you very much.
Losing your Mom is hard, hang in there and call when you need a friend.

John and I will greatly miss June who has been in John's life for a long time and, although somewhat less in mine, a lovely friend to us both. June was a most beloved member of Writers Unlimited and mentor to so many in the group from its early years in the mid-60s and up until her diagnosis. She took the time to alway encourage me and often said, "You go girl!" I grieve losing my dear friend, but will celebrate her presence in my life always.
