Our condolences to you on the loss of your wonderful mother. She was a very special lady and dear friend to Dennis and me. Unfortunately, we only got to see her when we were able to travel back from Arizona. She and Jerry were former Ottertail neighbors and dear friends. We shared many wonderful times, good meals and laughs together which we will always cherish. We are comforted in knowing that her suffering is done but saddened to have lost her. She truly fought a good fight to remain with all of you but now is with the Lord whom she loved so much. She was blessed with the love she had from all of her family. Our lives are enriched in knowing her and we will cherish the memory of our times together. May God give you strength, comfort and peace. Our love to you all.

Kathy was our dear friend all through high school years. Our distance from the Twin Cities caused a loss of contact. We had a relative from the Cities notify us of her passing. She will be remembered in our prayers. Ed and Carol

I was visiting at the village today and saw that Kathy had passed. I was delighted to show Kathy my newest bargain fashion, and she was delighted, too. She always wanted to feel the fabrics and admire the cut. Such a class act. I will miss her presence on the planet. Peace to her family.

Kathy´s laugh was contagious and so was her love for life. As Ilene said, for us too when we moved in next store many years ago, she came over with her freshly baked cinnamon rolls and a welcome to the neighborhood. A straight talker, avid gardener, listener, humorist and advice giver she endeared everyone to her. And don´t get me started about her mischievous side!!! All things that come with red hair were true...her strength of conviction, passion, love, loyalty and joy. You never ever didn´t know where you stood with Kathy. I will continue to miss my neighbor, friend and defacto mom to me and grandma to my kids for years to come.
Love Lisa

To Kathy's family. I was sadened to read of the passing of Kathy. She was the first neighbor I met when we moved to Chardel in 89. She was a fun and lovely lady and we so enjoyed her and Jerry being our neighbor. Please accept my sympothy in the loss of your Mom and grandchildren. I am sorry I will not be able to attend her funeral.
