Survived by parents, Pete (Sue) Korkowski & Becky (Mark) Weller; siblings, Cory & Lexie Weller, Rachel, Leah & Carter Korkowski; grandparents, Mike & Audrey Illies, Walt & Wilma Korkowski, Richard & Sandra Weller, Don & Betty Gilbert; many aunts, uncles, cousins & friends. Memorial service Wednesday 11 AM at HONSA FAMILY FUNERAL HOME (2460 East Co. Rd. E., WBL). Gathering of family & friends 2 hrs. prior to service at the funeral home.

My condolences on your loss. Although I never met Kristopher the news of his death touches me personally because 4yrs ago I lost my brother the same way. Please contact me if you ever need a kindred spirit. When we must walk through darkness it's nice to hold a hand that is familiar with the path. I carry you with me in my heart.

i met kris when i was workin at the Alley here in Chicago.He taught me how to do extentions and be a friend.Ill never forget when he flew out here to take me out for my 21st birthday and when he got his tattoos on his neck.he'll allways be my bestfriend and mentor and ill never forget him...blessed be

I have two step-children similar ages to Kris and can't possibly imagine not having them in our lives any longer. I'm sure he brought great joy to you and to those he encountered. Scott is my brother. Though I never met Kris, I'm sorry to hear he's gone at such a young age. I pray you can celebrate his life and find peace at this time of sorrow.

It pains my heart that Kris is gone. He brought so much joy to everyone. His generosity extended to all. I always felt at home around him. I learned so much from him about creativity and about how to be free. My love to family and the endless frinds who were lucky enough to have crossed paths with such a beautiful human being.

My entire family is completely heartbroken over the loss of Kris. We knew him here in Mpls, as a sweet person with the big smile and dearest friend to our daughter Erin, then as my husband's stylist. We visited Erin and him in NYC in June; he was staying home on a Saturday night watching movies, and he had the pull-out couch made up for us when we returned from our night out. I remember being so touched by that simple display of kindness towards Erin's family, and by how patient he was in letting me tag along with him on the subway so I wouldn't get lost. May his family find comfort in knowing how very much Kris was loved by so many, and will always be remembered.

i had the great pleasure of meeting kris and assisting him on a few of the hairpolice tours to atlanta along with visiting him in ny. he was so fun and talented and such a truely wonderful person. kris, thank you for all you taught me. i will deeply miss you. my prayers are with your family, friends and all the many lives you touched.

Hi, I used to be a costumer of Kris, whenI found out this morning what happened I cried. He was one of the best people I have ever been graced of meeting. Going to get my hair done was not only a needed and uplifting experience but one of the most fun times I've ever had. He made the entire experience beyond fun. In all reality the last time I got my hair done I got the full head of synth dreads not only for astehic purposes but also so I could spend and obsene time with Kris and his friends. He was one of the most amazing people I've ever met. He will be greatly missed.
