Kurt Patrick McCLUNG

1958 - 2021

Age 63, of Inver Grove Heights, MN Claimed the promise of his faith and went home to our Lord and Savior on May 3, 2021. Kurt was born to parents Barry and Beverly McClung of Mason City, Iowa on March 7, 1958. Kurt attended Mason City Community Schools, graduating in 1976, continuing his education at North Iowa Community College, followed by Iowa State University where he graduated with a degree in Agricultural Business in May 1984. On June 16, 1984, Kurt united in marriage to Jolene Peck at Wesley United Methodist Church. Kurt worked 35 successful years in the Agricultural Business field and with Murray Equipment, Inc. for 30 years. Kurt had a strong work ethic and was truly a dedicated worker. He was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Kurt was a devoted father to his three children, volunteering at school activities, attending school functions and coaching sports. He was very involved in the Boy Scouts of America and was a positive role model. Kurt's favorite past times were cabin/lake home fun, traveling, camping destinations, fishing, boating and gathering with family and friends for BBQ and bonfires. He was preceded in death by his parents. Kurt is survived by his three children, Mason-31, Dillon-27, Yulia-23 of Inver Grove Heights, MN; former wife, Jolene P. McClung, of Venice, Florida; sister, Marsha (Kenny) Strobel and brother, Matt McClung both of Northern Colorado; former sister-in-law, Pat (Scott) Davison of Mason City, Iowa; 6 nieces and nephews; also many longtime friends.
