Leola Darleen "Dee" McLENNON

1927 - 2022

Age 95, died peacefully in her home on 2-24-2022. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, BJ; sisters, Thelma and Gladys; and brother, Ole. Dee is survived by 4 nephews, 2 nieces, and many loving friends. Darleen was the valedictorian of the class of 1944. After a brief career as a private secretary, she retired to be a housewife- a job she did with great pride. After her husband retired, they traveled extensively around the world. When not traveling, they could be found out on the links or watching a football game. Special thanks are extended to those who cared for Dee. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the U of M Raptor Center, 200 Oak St. SE, #500, Minneapolis, MN 55455, or the Wildlife Rehab Center of MN, 2530 Dale St., Roseville, MN 55113. Cheers to a good life, toast her memory with a cold beer. A memorial service will be held in the spring at Greenwood Cemetery in Sauk Centre. 651-631-2727
