Marjorie E. Jorgensen

Age 89 Loving Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother Passed away peacefully on July 20, 2012. Born August 15, 1922 in Fosston, MN. Preceded in death by husband Carroll C. Jorgensen; infant daughter Elizabeth Ann; parents Otto and Engla Mickelson; sisters Delilah Thornton and Helen Campbell. Survived by sons David (Kary), Bruce (Barb), and Richard (Maggie); grandchildren Ann, Jessica, Deidra, Bethany, Kevin and Erik; four great-grandchildren; and brother Otto Mickelson. She graduated from Macalester College (Class of1944) and worked for 17 years in the Office of the Revisor of Statutes at the State Capitol as Supervisor of Bill Drafting. Marjorie enjoyed sewing, photography, travel, piano, music, and especially her grandchildren. We wish to thank all of the caregivers at The Sterling House and Gondola Group Inc. of Inver Grove Heights. Marjorie's family will gather for a private celebration of her life and faith. Inurnment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Union Gospel Mission in St. Paul.
