My thoughts and prayers go out to Mark's family during this difficult time. I played Touch Football against Mark and over 30 Slow Pitch Softball with him. A really good athlete and competitor. I also use to run in to him working at at Bally's. He was always positive, upbeat and in great shape. He will be missed. Rest in Peace my friend.

Mark moved near our neighborhood at about age 13. Me and my friends went to ask a few questions: New in the neighborhood? He answered "ya". For each of about 6 question, he just answered "ya". So we left and somebody asked "what's his name?" We decided it must be "Ya". So that's what it was. A few years later my little sister asked how Ya got his name. I told her that his real name is "Yaford". She believed that for the next 10 years!
