My wife, Sue and I attended uncle Marty's funeral and military burial yesterday at National Cemetary. Just a note to all involved that it was the most tasteful, classy and well orchestrated service we have ever attended. Kudo's to Gramma Florence and Grampa Mart for instilling the values that were exemplified yesterday all the way down to the great grand kids. Uncle Marty is very proud right now.

Marty, Jeff, Jimmy and Peter,
We are so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. He will be greatly missed. He always had a friendly "Hello" and cared for how I was doing. Whether it was when we were kids playing football in your backyard or more recently at the North Oaks Golf Club. The trips to Indian Head skiing in the U.P. of Michigan are Great Memories spent with your family that I will always treasure! We are praying to God that He will bring you peace of mind at this difficult time.
PEACE & GOD BLESS TO YOU ALL!

Dr. Rathmanner always had friendly smile and a kind word or question about my family...a true gentleman! When I would bump into him at the golf course we had fun sharing stories about his wonderful sons and their fine accompliahments. I always told Dr. Marty how I enjoyed his sons antics and enthusiasm on my schoolbus as their schoolbus driver to Snail Lake Elementary!
