Rest well, Uncle Pete! As lonf as I can remember you always came over to talk with dad and always had kind words for us kids and a silver dollar or two. I know you and dad are having a time of eternal life. I miss you Uncle Pete and love you always! Cindy and I will keep your memory alive!

I only learned today of the recent passing of my very dear "Compay" Pete Luna. Indeed, it was my privilege to say he and I were friends. We attended numerous baseball & softball games together and spent many hours discussing both sports. He was a man who was full of love for humanity. As long as I live, I will remember him in my heart with great fondness.

My Dad, Richard "Dick" Kappelhoff shared a room with Pete at Cerenity. Our entire family enjoyed getting to know him, he was a special person. I know my Dad wishes he could have visted Pete after leaving Cerenity. They spent a lot of time together and he was a good friend.
We are sorry for your loss and hope wonderful memories bring you comfort.

To the Family of Pete Luna,
My sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved father, grandfather and brother.
I met Pete through an old friend of his, Gene Running. We have many great times on bus trips, trips to Chicago for the Peterson Classic and just good old fun at the Nickel Joint with alot of friends.
Pete was such a gracious and fun loving guy. A smile for everyone and I never heard him say a bad thing about anyone. He was just a great person.
I think it is fair to say he lived a fun and full filled life.
Keep all the memories that you have him close to your hearts. He will still be watching over all of your from above.

Even though its been decades I still remember Pete from back in the 60's and 70's when he worked with my mother at Armours and I was in my late teens.
To this day I will never forget when my Mom and I went to see Pete in the hospital, he was having some "rear end" work done.
The nurse walked by and Pete says, "hello, I haven't seen you here before,whats your name"? She answers, "believe it or not, my name is the same as the woman that used to be the man that had that sex change operation"
And he said "Pete Luna"?
I'm in my 60's now and still laugh at that like it was yesterday.
My sincere condolences to his family and may he Rest in Peace.

Dear Luna family:
My Dad, Carl was a resident on 2nd floor at Cerenity also. Pete and Dad sat together at meals for a while. I enjoyed getting to know Pete. Pete was also met by Dad in heaven. Dad passed away on February 6th.
May you take comfort in knowing you have a special guardian angel watching over you. God Bless.
