Dad, I want to thank you for the wonderful childhood memories … all the love and all the compassion you've given me that we shared together as Father and Daughter will always be in my heart and with me forever. You always have been there for me as I have for you... you guided and taught me the values of life and taught me to be strong, your encouragement has made me the women that I have become today. You especially enjoyed the hotel room and beautiful view over the Riverwalk watching the tour boats everyday. I will cherish this time that we had together of love and joy of being with you Dad.

Happy Easter Dad!!!
Memories of you Dad at Easter.... remembering the joy of spending last Easter with you and how you were so excited that we had Easter dinner with you!! I remember that you had bought so much candy for your Grandsons that you were so persistent that we take it all back home!! Though we did enjoy the nice treats on our trip back home!!.
Love is the joy of Easter filled with hope and peace!! In memory of you Dad this Easter Holiday. I forwarded your voice recording, as you would have wanted me to do, to my brothers and sisters. I could just hear you say,,,, “That's my Sweetie Pie”. Hopefully they will feel some comfort in hearing your voice as I do. I remember playing your recorded message back to you and we always laughed about it. You told me to keep the message that I stored on my cell phone and that I did. It was meant to be Dad and I thank the Lord that I kept such a precious gift of you.
I remember as a young girl with you and Mom we attended the First Baptist Church for Easter service. Its ironic that we also attend the First Baptist Church for Easter Service today!! We will continue our tradition with my family dinner and easter treats.

DAD ~~ it's the New Year, as I reflect back on the years of those happy memories that we spent together. I will remember our precious memories that we spent together in Iowa and Minnesota for the holidays and birthdays. I will remember those funny stories that you shared with your Grandsons. I am thankful for the wonderful memories of the love and joy that we shared together as a family on this Thanksgiving Day!! I am blessed that had always traveled to MN every Thanksgiving Holiday to spend the holiday with you and Dad, especially for my boys to visit their Grandparents.

Happy Thanksgiving Daddy!!!!
As i got up today at 6, to put our turkey in the oven like you used to, I thought about you. Gordo made sure we had pumpkin pie and jello to at today, because he knows that was your favorite. This year, my family have a lot to be thankful for, but the biggest thing I'll always be thankful for is to have had you as my Dad and Grandpa to my kids. They have lots of great memories of you with them, and they know how much you loved them! They'll never forget you. Keep watch over us, and keep us safe. We'll love you forever and ever! And I'll always be your pumkin!

The boys had their 1st VARSITY FOOTBALL GAME. You would have been so proud of your grandsons as they won their 1st game!

I would like to thank you for all of the beliefs and strengths that you have given me over the years. I will miss the way you would joke and tease with the kids.
