Robert W. BONINE

1940 - 2022

Age 81 Passed away peacefully on 1/24/22 at home, surrounded by family. Born 6/21/40 to Willard and Helen Bonine. What a journey! Caddy, paper boy, hardware and carpet salesman, Army officer, teacher, principal, private and corporate foundation executive, insurance and investment advisor. Blessed with the 36-year love of wife, Kathie, who served as business partner, mother, grandmother and fellow traveler to 18 countries. San Diego and Lake Vermillion were two of his favorite places. Loved reading, golf, bridge and fishing and completed 24 marathons. All this enriched by the love of his three boys, Mike Bonine (Nicole), Steve (Kate) and Scott (Darla) O'Connor. They contributed wonderful grandchildren, Drew, Meg, Ava, Jack, Aleah, Camila and Rory. Survived by brothers Bruce and Bryan. Service will be held June 21 at Cremation Society in Edina.
