Mechura, Robert W. - Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather Age 83. Born in St. Paul, MN on July 11, 1920 and died peacefully on June 5, 2004 at the Veteran's Hospital. Served in World War II in the 107th Mechanized Cavalry. Veteran of D-Day and the Battle of the Bulge. Bob was a self-employed carpenter-contractor for 40 years. Res. of St. Paul. Preceded in death by parents, James and Anna Mechura, and brother, James Jr. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Goiffon) for 60 years. Loving father of Ronald (Karen DeMarrias), Osceola, WI; Renee (David) Kotval, St. Paul, MN; Lynn (Gregory) Anderson, Maplewood, MN. Grandfather of Scott, Brian (Ellen) Mechura, Brandon, Todd, and Dana Kotval, and Christopher Anderson. Brother of Dorothy Himmelwright, Portland, OR. Mass of Christian Burial at MATERNITY OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH 1414 N. Dale St., St. Paul, on Wednesday, June 9 at 10:00 AM. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
