Hold fast to your memories,

to all of the cherished moments of the past,

to the blessings and the laughter,

the joys and the celebrations,

the sorrow and the tears.

They all add up to a treasure

of fond yesterdays

that you shared and spent together,

and they keep the one you loved

close to you in spirit and thought.

The special moments

and memories in your life

will never change.

They will always be in your heart,

today and forevermore.

Easton- Your daddy was so proud of you the day you all came to your mommy's work, he thoroughly enjoyed taking care of your every need, your socks falling off your skinny little feet, holding you tight, knowing the treasure that you are,and telling us all about you, bundling you up and carefully packaging you into your carseat to go bye bye only for you to smile at him and let a little putt-putt; to which he smiled back at you and eagerly unpacked you from your carseat bundle to give you another squeeze and find a place to change that diaper.

Tiffany and the entire Schwartz Family,

I was shocked to hear of the loss of one of my friends, because he was too young. I was saddened because it has been awhile since I spoke with Steve and talked about the one time he actually beat out an infield single . But mostly, I am heart-broken because of all the new memories that he will not be able to make with his wife, son, family, and friends.

My deepest condolences. We will be thinking of all of you in our prayers.

Love, Chuck and Tami Hozza

Hi Tiffany-

My mom called me on Friday to let me know what happened. I cried for probably an hour after I received the news. I don't know what to say...I am so sorry. What a tragedy. May God watch out for you and Easton now and forever. I know everyone says this, but if you ever need help with Easton (or anything else), please let me know. I mean it; I would be happy to help.

I am Charlie Hozza's mom. Charlie and Steve grew up together and both went to Como Park. They were good friends -- especially as they both played baseball. Charlie heard the news when he was out of town on a business trip. He was so sad and wanted you all to know how much his friendship with Steve meant to him.
