Betty and I are saddened to learn of Steven's passing. His Dad, "Sieg," was our roofmate in Victoria Ponds before he moved to Steven and Susan's home. Our sympathy is with you all.

Although Steve and I were in Mr. Plank's 6th grade class together, and then went all through 7-12 grades, I didn't get to know him well until we were both on the 35th class reunion committee. I enjoyed working with him then, and his sense of humor made our meetings really fun. Steve shared that he had fond childhood memories of summer vacations in Kenton MI, eating Jilberts maple nut ice cream cones from the General Store there. Every time I drive through Kenton now, I think of Steve. I offer my deep sympathy for your loss.

I only knew you well for a short time, though our orbits were similar. Even in that brief acquaintance, I came to rely on your good humor and care for others. I will miss you, but I am glad I had the chance to know you even a little bit.
