Dear Nancy and family, I was so sorry to hear about Steve´s passing. He was a calming influence in our sometimes contentious department meetings, and I always appreciated his humor and reminders not to take ourselves so seriously. I looked forward to the time when Steve would start the "spring planting" to beautify the central campus quad. He added so much to our experiences at St. Thomas!

Dear Nancy and family,
My condolences for the loss of your loved one. Steve and I grew up as neighbors, friends and classmates. Our families had a lot of fun together. I ran into Steve a few times at St Thomas, when I was there on behalf of my employer checking the Coca Cola vending machines. He always had the grounds looking spectacular.
We had a chance to visit again at our grade school reunion.
God Bless. RIP Steve.

Nancy and family, What a beautiful obituary and it sounds exactly like the great guy that I knew so long ago. I have always considered myself blessed to have had him as a good friend during highschool and as a support at my first job working at Montgomery Wards. I'm so happy to know this amazing guy lived a wonderful life surrounded by his beautiful family. Love and condolences to you.

I knew who Steve was as a kid growing up on Nokomis but not much as he was several years older but I knew Nancy quite well. I am sorry to hear that he passed at such a young age. I remember the old neighborhood often and he was always very nice. Nancy, I would love to catch up when you get thru this and help with anything you might need. Jeff. [email protected].

I am so sad to learn of Steve's passing. He was one of the first people I met at St. Thomas. I remember my interview with him. Love him. A wonderful human in every way. Sending love to his amazing and wonderful family.

Dear Nancy and Family,
I am so sad to hear that Steve has passed on. So many memories of his happy chuckle and assistance in the greenhouse. He was always ready with a suggestion or reassurance that things were going well with the plants. God will likely put him in charge of some celestial greenhouse. Please accept my sympathy and prayers.
