I was very fond of Tom. I first met him after his hockey adventures in Sweden and Japan were over. One of our best activities together was to drive through Wisconsin to ski in upper Michigan. On the way, Tom played guitar and sang. Occasionally we'd stop at a bar with table bowling. Tom would always lose the first few games and then full of confidence he'd challenge his opponents to drinks for the bar. Guess who won. When we finally arrived at Iron Mountain, Tom would ask what color today and pull out a whole packet of lift tickets. You can guess why. I could on and on about the good times and laughs we had together. After he met Agneta, he lived parttime in Ängelholm, Sweden. We got together once or twice at my home in Sweden. Otherwise, he'd call me regularly on the phone. Same old Tom. Lots of fun and laughs. I'll miss him as I'm sure everyone else will who has been in touch with him. What a guy!

Picture: Tom and I visited the legendary Ulf Sterner once while he was here in Säffle. We also watched a hockey game. What else?

My condolences to Tom's family. Remember all the great times together and know that one day y'all will join him in eternal peace.

He was in my Cretin class of '61 and quite a sports enthusiast.

Condolences to the Haugh family. Tom was one of my favorite people in our 1961 Cretin High class. Tom was always upbeat, full of humor, and even though one of the elite jocks, Tom was always just a down-to-earth good guy.

Tom has been an important person in our lives. For me, it started in our teens - lots of dancing as well as parties, eventually he introduced Sweden as well as my husband to me.
For Arne, it was many memorable hockey moments as well as good times.
His love, goodness and faithfulness has never wavered.
We thank him for everything he has given us, he will never be forgotten.

My name is Frankie, I work at the front desk at Walker Methodist Westwood Ridge. I am so lucky I got the chance to meet Tom and be his friend in the last few months of his life. He was such a character and his sense of humor was so refreshing. He made us all laugh. I am so sad to hear he had passed but I am so grateful I got to know him! To his brother Bob I am so sorry, the times you came in and you guys played your card games and shared laughs will always be a memory I have of Tom, you were both lucky to have each other! Also to Pete Haugh, your dad loved you so much but I'm sure you know that. I hope the whole Haugh family and Agneta are all at peace and find comfort. I will never forgot Tom, but I doubt anyone ever could.
