Tilmer THOMPSON Obituary

Died on his 88th birthday, August 7, 2015, peacefully at his home in Roseville. He is survived by two sisters, four children, six grand-children, and seven great-grand-children. A private memorial service and mass was attended by friends and family at the Cremation Society of Minnesota in Edina on August 29, 2015. As a young man, then known as "Cotton" Thompson, he served in the U.S. Navy on a minesweeper in the Pacific Theater of Operations during World War II. After the war ended, he graduated from St. Paul College of Law. He loved engaging in thought provoking discussions. T. Eugene was a multi-faceted person. Oscar Wilde said, "Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future." Amen.

Carol Swaboda lived next door to me when we were growing up. She was my babysitter and I loved her. My mother used to tell me not to pester Carol when she wasn't babysitting. But how I enjoyed her company.
