I was with Tim for only one day and evening last year and, unbelievably, that happened to be when he died. I will never "get over it". Now, he visits me on a regular basis in my dreams and, when I wake up, it hits me again that he is really gone. I'm sure he's doing the "fish dance" somewhere and making people laugh. Rest In Peace, Tim.

It has been almost a year since we lost our brother and I believe we are still in shock and grief-stricken. As I read through these condolences from a year ago my eyes filled with tears once again to think of our brother now gone. So many thoughts and memories fill my mind .... For now, I want to say to Tim, we will love you and miss you to the end of our days. I know your response would be "Don't you know Nutting?"

Tim,
It is the anniversary of your leaving us and joining all those on the other side. We miss you soooo much and we all still think of you as with us. I look at your picture and my heart jumps a beat. We know you are well and happy and that we will all be together again in a "blink of God's eye". See you then. With all my love.

To the O'Leary Family,
I got to know TJ over the past few months working very closely with him at 3M. The last conversation I had with him, he talked in great depth about his life. He spoke of his love for his parents, his career at 3M, and of his Catholic faith. I was shocked and greatly saddened when I heard of his passing. However, I will be eternally grateful that I had the opportunity to have such a meaningful and indepth conversation with TJ. He will be greatly missed.

Kathleen and O'Leary Family - I am so sorry and sad to hear the news about Tim. It has been such a long time since I have seen you, Kathleen, but it also feels like yesterday. When I look at Tim's picture now, I see the same smile as from when he was the 'little brother'. I can tell Tim had many friends and was loved by a lot of people which is what life is all about. We are praying for you and your family and wish you the best.

Dear O'Leary family, I am so sorry for your loss! I worked with Tim on Post-it (R) New Products in the 90's. I was so shocked yesterday to learn of his passing. Tim was a very dedicated 3M'er with creative ideas and an energized spirit. I feel honored to have known him.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Fran Flanagan (Eagan, MN)

Maureen, Kev, Kate, Brendan--
I can not tell you how sorry I was when Meg called to tell me. Tim was a great friend. I often times recall a memory of his antics on fishing trips to Scout Lake. My how he could make me/us laugh: pulling up the bottom of Hungry Narrows, the fish dance, the human neck tie, dying minnows pink, dead sea scrolls, the list could go on and on. I will miss him greatly!

To the family of T.J. O'Leary my thoughts prayers are with you now. My old friend TJ the king of cliches "Love is Blind and you're......" The guru of ingenuity who came up with more gadgets and widgets comprised of wood, metal & epoxy such as cup holders for rented fishing boats to name one. TJ had a knack for alternating peoples names. For instance our freind Roland from one of TJ's favorite fishing spots, Scout Lake Resort on Lac Seal in Canada became Ralo "Is Ralo out dar looking for dem". One of my favorite fishing stories is when TJ dyed live minnows florescent pink and orange. And who could forget his passion for David Bowie, Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars played at max volume! Until we meet again my old friend. God Bless, Lib's

Dear O'Leary Family, my sincere condolences for the sudden loss of Tim. He sat in front of me last Friday at Mary McGuire's funeral. We shook hands during the sign of peace, and he had such a lovely smile on his face, it stuck with me. We can never understand the randomness of life or the suddeness of God's call to us. I am comforted by knowing Tim is with his parents and Mary and Frank. May you all find peace and comfort in the days ahead.

I am still in shock by this and will miss my uncle greatly. Tim was always the jokester Uncle making us all laugh with his goofy phrases. I still remember him bringing us all stuffed animals every time we saw him as children. I pray that he is now safe with god and hopefully fishing with my Grandpa O'Leary once again!
You will be loved and missed,

I have been close to TJ since high school and was fortunate to work very closely with him since March. We put in some long hours together and would often share supper. He was especially fond of the peppercorn steak at Applebee's! Please know that TJ was very happy with his life and enjoying his work. These past few months he seemed to be more satisfied than in any other time that I've known him.
Everyone on the Hutchinson team was quite shocked to hear the news. Many commented how he had made them laugh, even when the work was difficult and discouraging.
Also, TJ was a wonderful and supportive godfather to Tina and often spoke proudly of her accomplishments.
I am very blessed to have had such a friend as TJ. I, and my family, are going to miss him very much.

My condolences on your loss. Tim has been a good friend for many years. I have a lot of good memories of him from bowling, work, and fishing trips. One in particular: On a Daubert fishing trip to Smokey Lake Resort, I remember him having two fishing lines in the water at the same time, one out the front of the boat and one out that back. He got a fish on both lines at the same time. He yelled to us on the shore, while shrugging his shoulders, and asked, "What do I do now?" :-) He will be greatly missed!
