My dad and I for our father daughter wedding dance. We danced to Eric Clapton-Wonderful Tonight. My dad loved music and would always play the “guess who’s singing this song?” with me all the time, even when he was in hospice. He taught me a lot about artists and classic rock.

My Dad, Husband, and I. At the Maracas Bay Beach lookout in Trinidad and Tobago. He had a great time relaxing at the beach. The beach was the calmest and bluest we had ever seen it that day.

My Uncle Todd was a fun man, great story teller, and exciting individual. I remember seeing him as a little girl and he would throw me up into the air and catch me. He was super strong, that's why it was hard watching him suffer from cancer. Even through his battle, he was strong and offered me good advice. I know he'll be looking out over me until the day we meet again. Here's our last zoom session days before you passed.

My brother, Todd.
The times with my brother Todd, the many flights to Minnesota to be with family. I remember when my family came to visit me in Washington state, on Whidbey Island when I was in the Navy, Todd/Perry and mother and Harold, wish I could have done more with them. Todd had a love for Motorcycle as I, and his 1st tat that took some time due to that I was the 1st in the family. I remember my trip back to Minnesota with my daughter Steevie and her 1st time and how she looks up at him, and maybe just how we felt when we saw our uncle the 1st time. I have a great picture of him holding her in his work uniform. Going to miss him. Looking back Todd has done so many things in life, he was my best man and came to Maryland to be in his older brother wedding. Looking at what is still here today, both have a symbol of love with our daughter's, and gift in life. Todd your with mother now, and I pray please watch over me and your family. Please look down on me, know will think of you always, for sure when I see or talk with your daughter; Morgan.

Todd Schmidt, my father, was a friend to many, lets say thousands. Anywhere he went he either ran into someone who he knew or made a new connection.
He was a fighter down to his last days. A strong, but loving person, always with a positive mindset. Even though his cancer eventually took his life, he lived to the fullest from the time of his diagnosis and beat all odds to survive for two and a half years more. In that time he got to travel, work, spend time with family, and see his brother, sister, and myself, his daughter get married.
