To my childhood neighbor siblings, I wanted to send my heartfelt thoughts and prayers your way. As you all know, your dad played a significant role in the Nemetz kids' lives. We can't help but bring up Mr. Baller when reminiscing about our childhood on E. Nebraska. We were grateful to be part of the cool things he did for us - the trips to the beach in the summer, baked potatoes in the garage stove, going sliding, driving us to school on those snowy winter days, building the treehouse in the backyard. Mr. Baller was a man's man, with always a smile on his face, and the ultimate can-do attitude. He touched so many lives and built special memories for us, decades ago. He was one handsome gent, as well! Thank you for sharing him (and your sweet mom) with us all of those years!

My thoughts are with the entire Baller family. Vic was such a wonderful person. So loving, caring and had such a wonderful sense of humor! He always seemed to have a smile on his face. I am glad I had the pleasure of knowing him! Cari (Jeanne's Daughter)

I'm so happy that I got to visit with Vic on several trips to Minnesota.
I have fun memories of how you owned the road driving us to Olive Garden and in showing us your garden. Glad our your Alaskan great-grandkids got to meet you this summer.
Peace and comfort to your name!

I miss you Dad!!! I feel so blessed to have had such a full day with you last Sunday. Judy and I went to church and took your spot next to Dick today. That was hard but good. You were such a strong and beautiful man inside and out. What are we supposed to do now?! I can't stop thinking of you -and I am so happy you are with Mom and Jim, and can see again!! I love you soooooo much Dad! Clare

For the 18 years we enjoyed as next-door neighbors Vic was like a second dad to our six kids. With the rides to school in the jeep, the trips to the dump, and the never-ending home projects he was the fun dad and wonderful neighbor loved by all of us then and in memory today.

Vic was the sweetest man. He was so kind and thoughtful. We lived next to Vic and Lee for 9 years. God bless you Baller family as you grieve your precious dad. Sincerely, Keith and Cathy Brown
