David,
I learned of Violet's death yesterday. I was really sad. When I took a walk with her last summer at Danny's she was full of life, passion and excitement; she didn't mention that she was struggling with cancer.
Well, that was Violet, always a winner and larger than life itself. So beautiful and fun.
You must feel really lost with out her.
My condolences to you and your family.

David and family.
My deepest condolences to you and your family. Violet was one of the most lovable and loving persons that I ever met. She loved to laugh! Knowing Violet made my life richer. She touched so many people. We are all better people for having known her.

I've been out of touch for years, and still my world is a little emptier without her in it. That picture really conveys the personality I remember so well.

Violet may be gone, but I will cherish the memories of all of the wonderful times we had at your home when our now grown children were little. I will always carry you in my heart.

Dave and boys,
It's been along time since I've seen or talked to most of you, but time has not faded my memories of Violet. She was one of a kind. Whether she was cruising around the lake in her purple convertable, cooking and talking in the kitchen, her 35th birthday party, going to see the Ice Castle, hanging out at the local pub, either in WBL, STP or the cabin in Clam Falls, she always the life of the party. Vibrant. Hard working. Devoted. Funny. Original. Take care of each other in this time of loss and pain. Thinking of you all.

Dave and boys, It's been along time since I've seen most of you, but I wanted you to know I will always have fond, fun memories of Violet. Cruising around the lake in her purple cadillac, her 35th birthday party, sitting in the kitchen talking and cooking, the Ice Castle, hanging out at the local pub - whether it was in WBL, STP or the cabin in Clam Falls. She was always the life of the party no matter where she went. And true to herself. Take care of each other in this time of loss and pain.

Many years have past since I last saw Violet, but my memory of her is, like Violet was, larger than life! I smile when I think of the fun times we had with our "Tuesday Night Fun League", a bunch of hackers who "tore up the course". She always knew how to have a good time and family was always an important part of the good times. May you all find comfort and strength in her memory.

Vinnie and family,
We would like to express our sincere condolences on the passing of your mother. While we know that no comfort is ever enough to replace the loss of one so loved, realize that she will forever be with you and your family in your heart and memories. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Dave, Tony, Gino and Vince,
Your wife and mother taught me a lot about being tough and working hard and being kind and generous. Our families were blended for some years, starting with my aunt Grace Greene as your caregiver, mom as Vi's hairdresser, me as the housecleaner and Lora babysitting and plucking you, Vince from a crib in a dangerous situation. Our entire family family sends our deepest sympathy at the loss of such a vibrant woman. We know that life will enrich you in the future because you have some a powerful, incredible woman watching over you.

We are stunned to hear about Vi's passing. We have so many great memories with your family, and are holding you all in our prayers for comfort and peace. She was a one-of-a-kind personality with the biggest heart in the whole world. We are saddened and know the world is a little bit dimmer without the light from that bright smile she always wore. We are here for you. With love, Jim & Kris Novak
