TRACY CHAPOOSE Obituary

TRACY CHAPOOSE Tracy Ann Chapoose, age 54, of Hilltop, passed away November 15, 2023, at her home after a battle with various illnesses. She was born August 3, 1969, in Roosevelt, to Thomas and Ranae Myore Chapoose. She married Coy Christensen, and they later divorced. Tracy was a manager at Ute Petroleum for many years. She had a great sense of humor and was well liked by those who knew her. She enjoyed watching her crime shows, her game shows, crocheting, and eating especially her son's food that he cooked. She was a favorite grandma, and supported all of her family even if there was strife in the relationship. Tracy is survived by her children, Andrew Marquez, Randlett; Ernesto Perez, Jr., Hilltop; Adreanna Perez, Illinois; Lilliana Potter, Vernal; two grandchildren; her aunts and uncles, Geneva Accawanna, Sue Chapoose, Yvette Chapoose, Yvonne Chapoose, Peggy Chapoose, and Rick Chapoose, Sr., all of Ft. Duchesne; siblings, Matthew Murdock, Washington; Jenny Chapoose; Brett (Sharrell) Chapoose, Vernal; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings Wanda Chapoose, & Pam Chapoose; and a nephew, Cameron Martinez. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ft. Duchesne Community Building. Following the services, per her wishes, she was cremated.
