Larry Breth Obituary

The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the age of 72 years.

Son of the late Leo and of the late Eleanor (née Schmitz). Beloved husband of Simone Dumont (née Viau). Loving father of Andrea Payne (Richard). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Mason and Eleanor. Dear brother of Jerry (Marilyn), Betty Kemper (late Marvin), and Pat (Mary). Predeceased by his brother Robert (Cheryl).

Larry's presence was a gift to all who knew him. He was always full of joy, warmth, and unwavering optimism. Even in the face of illness, his spirit never dimmed. He met every new day with a smile, a joke, and a heart full of gratitude, reminding us all how beautiful life could be when lived with kindness and courage.

He was the life of the party at every gathering, the one who would get the dance floor moving, and the initial joker who would get the laughter flowing. Whether cheering on his beloved Minnesota Vikings or sharing stories with strangers who would quickly become friends, Larry had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued.

Above all, Larry cherished being a grandpa. His love for his grandchildren was boundless and his eyes lit up with pride and joy whenever he spoke of them. His legacy lives on in the memories of playing UNO, going for ice cream, and countless trips.

Larry's kindness, humor, and zest for life will be deeply missed but never forgotten. He leaves behind a trail of smiles, a chorus of laughter, and a community forever better for having known him.

Rest easy Larry. You danced through life and now you are dancing in heaven.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 17 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at the Wapicada Golf Course in Sauk Rapids, MN.
