JOYCE FLANNERY Memoriam

Joyce was the sweetest, kindest woman and loved by all who knew her. She stated often that she was not afraid of death because she knew she would be seeing her Lord Jesus, her Heavenly Father, her husband, and her mother. Joyce loved attending church at The Journey in Sonora. As her memory was fading she would ask, most days, if it was Sunday so that she could go to church.
Joyce was a school teacher, pilot, certified scuba diver, volunteer for Youth With a Mission, and traveler. Joyce was also a loving and devoted wife to her husband, Denny Flannery, her two children, Kimm and Shawnn, and Nana to Jackson, Brody, Cole, Landon, and Levi. Joy was in her name and we will miss her humor and beautiful and smiling face so very much. But we are comforted that she is now experiencing joy to the fullest!
A Celebration of Life is open to all who knew her. Bring your funny and poignant stories about Joyce. The celebration will be held at the Country Cowboy Church in Sonora @ 11:00am at 14535 Peaceful Valley Rd. Because Joyce loved a good potluck, one will follow the service. Call (209)352-0834 for more information or to attend.
