Leslie Franklin Lamastus, 98, of Bowling Green went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at the Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife Gladys Marie Tunks Lamastus, his birth parents Charles and Tina Franklin of Cumberland Co., KY, his adoptive parents Emeral and Nelly Lamastus of Woodbury in Butler County, KY. Leslie was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed hunting and fishing for pleasure. Leslie was a devout Christian and gave his life to the Lord and was baptized in 1981. He was a faithful member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church where he was a servant of the church as Sunday School Superintendent and song leader. In his later years he attended Jackson Grove Baptist Church as his health permitted. He was a friend to all he met and will be greatly missed by all of his friends.
Leslie would like to say "Goodbye to all of my friends and I pray we meet again in Heaven".
The funeral service will be at 12 noon Friday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Boiling Springs Cemetery. The visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m.-12 noon on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boiling Springs Cemetery% Roddy Grimes, 1340 Boiling Springs Rd., Bowling Green, KY 42101.
