Barbara Patnaude

Barbara Patnaude, 90, of Derry, NH passed away Saturday October 4, 2025 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry after a period of declining health. Barbara was born August 11, 1935 in Weare, NH, a daughter of the late Frank and Arlene (Colburn) Buckley. She was raised and educated primarily in Derry. Barbara graduated from Pinkerton Academy in 1953 and from Becker Junior College in 1955.

Barbara spent most of her working life as a typist for her husband's court reporting company. She was a volunteer at Parkland Medical Center from 2005 until 2019 and worked in many capacities during her time there. Barbara enjoyed candlepin bowling which she played most of her life, and was a "Big Time" NE Patriots fan.

Members of the family include her two sons, Steven and his wife Trina Patnaude, and Daniel Patnaude; three grandchildren, Nicholas Patnaude, Stephanie Winde and Robert Patnaude; three great grandchildren, Lydia Winde, Erin Coy and Jack Winde; three siblings, Lois Murray, Gail Levesque and Thomas Buckley; as well many nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert E. Patnaude in 1991, and five siblings, Raymond Buckley, Richard Buckley, Arnold Buckley, Marilyn Joyce, and Shirley Hayward.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, October 10th from 10am - 12pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A funeral service will follow at 12:00pm in the funeral home.
