LAKELAND, Fla. -- Charles "Chick" Hunt, 67, of Lakeland, Fla., died May 8, 2009, of complications from leukemia.
He was born Jan. 13, 1942, in Medford, Mass. He was a prepress computing design engineer who relocated to Lakeland six months ago from Hampstead, N.H.
He was a member of the Super Sport Roadster Club, an amateur radio operator, a volunteer examiner with the Amateur Radio Relay League, and he held a brown belt in karate.
Family members include his wife, Janice Lee Hunt of Lakeland, Fla.; a son, Devon Hunt of Lakeland; daughters, Melissa Hunt of Durham, N.H., and Lori Frye of Palm Bay, Fla.; brother, Paul Hunt of Malden, Mass.; and sister, Sheila Morris of Revere, Mass. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Hunt.
IN HIS LIFE: Family members also include a granddaughter, Kendall Lee Rose Leighton of Durham, N.H.
SERVICES: Visiting hours are Sunday, July 12, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Ave., Medford, Mass. I am so sorry that I just found out that he passed, I worked with him back at optronics and also lived in Hampstead at the time.
