Connor Stiles Obituary

After a valiant fight against a formidable foe, Connor succumbed to brain cancer. Connor was born on November 25, 1994, and entered into a pursuit to fulfill his dreams. Connor was a lifelong resident of Warner, NH. There he would develop friendships, education and sports. His education led him to be successful, first graduating from Kearsarge Regional High School, where he played varsity basketball. He then went on to study at NHTI and received his Associates Degree. He pursued his Bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University, graduating with distinction on the President's List.

Connor's work ethic, coupled with his sense of humor, allowed him to be a good fit with Fidelity Management as a Registered Representative working with institutional and individual clients.

Connor always wanted the best for himself and those close to him. His short life accomplishments show he was destined to make a significant impact as he affected so many with his wit, determination and intelligence. He was a restaurant food connoisseur and critic, liked watching all types of films, and enjoyed sporting events or just day tripping to the White Mountains or Seacoast of New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts.

Connor leaves behind his parents, Thomas and Maureen (O'Malley) Stiles, a sister, Ellen Stiles and a brother, Patrick Stiles and his close friends, George Benoit and Dylan Goldstein along with his German Shepherd Ridley (a/k/a Shadow).

His extended family of Uncles and Aunts, James and Erin O'Malley, Jane Collins, John O'Malley, William and Judith Stiles, and Carolyn Stiles who sent him stories of adventure and intrigue to help Connor through his illness. Cousins Jack and Grace O'Malley, Kellie Collins, Maura and David Nolan, Lillian and Sam Olivier and Lydia Haas.

Connor was predeceased by his Grandparents, John O'Malley, Yves and Glenice (O'Malley/Fannon) Nadeau and Walter and Janet (Mallett) Stiles.

The family would like to thank the staff at Granite VNA, the Dartmouth Hitchcock and Norris Cotton Center Doctors Nurses and Staff and his Fidelity Team.

Friends may call at the Chadwick Funeral Home, 235 Main Street, New London, NH on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 P.M.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Prouty at Dartmouth (Please make checks to D-HH/The Prouty), D-H/Geisel Office of Gift Recording, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH 03756.

I am so sorry to learn of Connor's passing. He was a wonderful, happy, energetic and fun-loving neighbor. I remember him when he was young and Nathan was younger than he. That didn't seem to matter to Connor, and I appreciated that. May your whole family be held close in God's grace, peace, healing and hope.

To The Stiles Family,
I'm so sorry to hear about this news. My heart goes out to Tom, Maureen, Patrick, Ellen, and family members. We were so lucky to grow up as neighbors of the Stiles and some of my favorite memories of my childhood was playing football, wiffleball, and basketball outside with Connor. He was always so positive as a teammate, friend, and brother. He loved his community and family. It is no surprise to hear how successful Connor was after graduating from high school and college because of his strong work ethic and his personality. I hope all of his family and close friends find peace in the way he lived his life and how many people cared about him. We were all better off being around Connor, and I'm thankful for the time I had with him.
With Love,
Shawn

Tom and Maureen,
I am so saddened to hear of Connors passing. I will always remember his excitement, commitment and love for basketball. He may have been the smallest player but he had the biggest heart and he always encouraged his teammates. My heart aches for you both. Please take comfort in knowing he is at peace and I hope found memories like mine carry you through these very difficult days.

Connor will forever hold a cherished place in our family. Patrick, Connor, and Ellen were constant fixtures, effortlessly shuttling between our home and theirs.

Our bond with the Stiles transcends mere acquaintance; it's the kind of connection that seamlessly falls into place even after years apart. We hold them dear to our hearts.

Some of our fondest memories revolve around Connor, Patrick, Jack, Shawn, Sam, Ellen, Klondike and Cooper, frolicking in each other's yards, engaged in all sorts of adventures. It was the epitome of the idyllic neighborhood for raising kids, filled with laughter and maybe a hint of mischief now and then.

Connor's exuberance always brightened our day. With a beaming smile, he'd greet me with a booming "HI BIG SAM." Oh, how I'll miss that. You always yearn for just one more of those moments.

We always deeply admired Connor. He possessed a sharp intellect, quick wit, and boundless kindness. His sports knowledge was unmatched; he'd often surprise us all by dominating the March Madness tournament.
Maureen and Tom, you raised a true warrior. Connor's unwavering spirit and resilience were a testament to his character, integrity, and zest for life. He embodies a role model for us all.

Our sincere condolences. As neighbors, it was lovely to walk along your road and chat with you and a joy to watch all the children grow up and find their places in the community. Connor was taken way too soon. Our hearts go out to you, Tom and Maureen, and to Patrick and Ellen.

Stiles family,
I am so thankful for Connors presence and friendship in my life when we were younger. I remember waking up most days in elementary school and immediately running down to your home to play and hangout with Connor for hours at a time. I will always cherish the moments we spent together playing video games, playing basketball in the barn, and maybe getting into a little bit of trouble together walking around the neighborhood. As you know, he was just the best person to be around. He was so funny, kindhearted, good natured, and incredibly smart even at a young age. He taught me so much- and I am so grateful that I had a mentor like Connor to look up to during that period of my life. He was a stand up friend- that just deeply and genuinely cared about the people around him.
He loved his family so much- and Patrick- I remember him always talking about how he wanted to be just like you when he was older. I enjoyed reading about how successful he turned out to be, and I’m very thankful for the impact he made on my life.
Tom, Maureen, Patrick, and Ellen- I am praying for you all during this difficult time. I hope you find peace in remembering Connor and the joy he brought us all.

Tom & Maureen,

My most heart felt condolences go out to you and your entire family. Losing a son or daughter is a tough one. Connor posessed so much potential and energy. His absence will be a loss to us all.
You folks have made a life for yourselves in Warner. Try to focus on the plans you made. If you are not already retired, you must be pondering the whole idea. Try to settle into your next phase of life knowing that you have done well. My greatest wish for you is that you can find peace and happiness going forward. May God bless you all.

Stiles Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Connor and his battle with cancer, he was truly an honor to coach and teach back in the day. He had an amusing and contagious personality, unwavering work ethic, and was an outstanding teammate! Connor would bring the crowd to their feet when he pulled into a 3 pointer, knowing he was deadly from the behind the arc, everyone would erupt with excitement and joy went it went through the hoop as he hustled back on defense. He and George B would always make me laugh, those two were the best of friends and I enjoyed their passion for all the Boston sport teams. Connor will be missed and I appreciate all that he gave to Kearsarge and the Boys Basketball program! Rest in Peace, Coach Camp

I have only known Connor for a few years, his best friend is my son-in-law George Benoit. I remember how much they enjoyed watching sports together, boy were they enthusiastic about the games. They always had such a great time. He will be missed greatly.

Tom, Maureen, Patrick and Ellen,

Thank you for allowing us to experience your families friendship, laughter and love through all the years, and most importantly thank you for sharing Connor’s life and light with us. From basketball games, to road-trips, birthday parties, and everything in between our families experience was always brighter with Connor’s presence. From his mischievous smile, and perfectly timed jokes, to his compassion, and determination to everything life brought his way, we were all blessed and better off for having connor in our lives. Although time and life has made our family meet ups less frequent than they were when we were all younger, we hope you know that our friendship and love for all of you, especially Connor is as strong today as it ever was. We wish you all healing in the days, weeks and months to come, and please let us know if there’s anything we can do for you, from a hug, to a conversation or the sharing of an old memory; we are all here for you. We were all better off for having connor in our lives, and we hope this brings some bit of peace to you all.

Will love and sympathy,

-The Havey’s
