I just keep thinking about what we would have accomplished at this point. All times we dreamt of big things, none of which I´ve done yet but I´ve not forgotten them. I still feel it. I know you´re watching it. I just keep thinking about our convos recently.

I really miss you Darren, and i still replay the accident in my head everyday, and it makes me cry. I lost my best friend, you were a true brother to me Darren, I wish I had more time to spend with you. I heard the news about Darrens car accident when I was in placement, and everyone just got silent, and asked if I was alright, and I said no. Every kid that was in placement asked if they could talk to me and I said yes, and I broke down everyday crying, begging god to bring you back but it never happened. So I pray everyday to GOD to take away my pain, and to let me remember you for who you really were. I LOVE YOU BRO. FOREVER IN MY HEART DARREN THOMAS DUNCANSON

I'll always be your baby girl <3 Miss & Love you Doll. I hope you're having fun up there, because I miss you more than ever. <3

I had some really fun times with Darren; Singing in his car, going to Brewster Beach, school, teaching me how to do a British accent, downtown... I wish I could say I had a million more. He was nice to every single person he came into contact with. No matter what they looked like or what their personality was like, he was accepting of them. He was an absolutely amazing person and is forever missed. We all love you Darren.

As a mother, I cant even begin to know how you are feeling, my heart is so sadenned for you. I didnt know Darren, but my children knew him. My son told me about how Darren was so nice to him in electricity class, he is just a freshmen and you know how difficult that can be. My daughter was friends with Darren and spoke of what a wonderful friend he was.
There will never be any words that will make you feel better or fill your heart with less pain. Darren was a tribute to what a wonderful mother you were to him and how well you raised him, to love and care for all, as evident by the turn out at the candle lighting ceremony. So many kids from all different types of cliques. Although he is no longer with us, he has left a imprint in many lives. He will live forever in those who he had touched with even just a smile. He was loved by many and will be remembered by all.

Every day we delighted in passing a small boy walking his German Shepherd down Old Bay Road. As the years passed the boy grew tall, a kind young gentleman, the dog grew weary, and the walk became a slow stroll. Darren was a beautiful example of devotion that we will all remember and try to emulate.

Our hearts break for your loss,

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
