David Mack Obituary
David was born on December 24, 1978 in the Azores Islands, Portugal. Born into a life of adventure as a "foreign services brat" Davids upbringing took him across the globe. He found solace and rootedness during summers spent with his family in Vermont and for the past two decades, he called Manchester NH his home, where he immersed himself in the community. A kind and generous person, he delivered Meals on Wheels for many years.
David was a man of diverse talents and passions. He had a natural flair for athleticism, excelling in sports from a young age. Skateboarding was not just a hobby but a form of expression that brought him joy throughout his life. His creativity extended beyond the physical hobbies; he was an avid musician, skilled with both guitar and electronic music production. A deeply spiritual person, David's relationship with God was profoundly personal and studying the bible was integral to his daily life. David will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of sharing in his journey.
David is survived by his daughter Charlette Martin; parents, Sheila and James Mack of Maryland; siblings, Robert Mack and his wife Elena of Maryland, Sally Mack and her spouse Adrian Apodaca of Virginia, and Frances "Franny" Mack of Virginia; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25th from 11:00am - 12:00pm at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A funeral service will follow at 12:00pm in the funeral home. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend. David will be laid to rest on Saturday, July 27th in Hamden Cemetery, Hamden, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to WestBridge Recovery Opportunity Fund, 660 Chestnut Street, Manchester, NH 03104 or to Meals on Wheels America, P.O. Box 791568, Baltimore, MD 21279.
