Eric Parenteau Obituary

Eric Vernon Parenteau Sr. passed away Sept. 22, 2016, after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Peterborough, lived his younger years in Concord and settled down in Warren.

Eric was an avid hunter and loved football, Nascar and playing guitar. He worked for many years at Rumford Press, OD Hopkins and Rochester Shoe Tree.

Eric was predeceased by his parents, Wilfred A. Parenteau Sr. and Mabel Belle (Sweeney) Parenteau, his sister, Edna Bubacz, and brother Raymond Parenteau Sr.

He leaves behind his sons, Eric Parenteau Jr., and Corey Parenteau; brothers Thomas Fairfield, wife Joanne, Wilfred Parenteau Jr, wife Linda, George Parenteau, and Wayne Parenteau; his sisters, Grace Forand, Gertrude Underwood, Norma Heath, husband William, Denise Start, husband Allen, Loretta Start, husband John; and his stepmother, Barbara Rollins Parenteau. Also his grandchildren, aunts, uncles, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Service: Saturday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. at the Warren Methodist Church, Warren, N.H., followed by burial at the Pine Hill Cemetery, Warren.

My deepest condolences to the Parenteau family. I had the pleasure of working with Eric for many years at O.D. Hopkins.His sense of humor was unmatched and I have thought of him frequently over the years since we worked together so long ago. Rest in peace my friend.
