Hildegard Karoline Arsenault

Hildegarde Karoline Arsenault, 89, formerly of Stewartstown New Hampshire, passed away on January 25, 2023, after a brief illness at Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord, NH.

Hilde was the wife of Delore (AKA: Sonny) M Arsenault. Together they shared 70 years of life while raising six children.

Born in Bergen-Enkheim Germany, she was the daughter of Ana and Konrad Schwank. Hilde and Sonny met in Germany while Sonny was in the Airforce. Sonny later brought Hilde home to Beverly, Massachusetts, where they lived for a number of years. Most of their life together was spent in Merrimack, New Hampshire. Hilde worked many years at Raytheon Systems from which she retired. Hilde and Sonny decided to retire to Stewartstown, New Hampshire in the early 1990's where Hilde enjoyed fishing, birdwatching, and wildlife. Recently, Hilde and Sonny decided to move to Loudon, New Hampshire to be in close proximity to their children and their families.

Hilde loved fishing, a good game of the Boston Bruins, enjoyed camping, knitting, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her loyalty, straight-forwardness, the impetuous way of getting her point across, and her unwavering love for her husband.

Hilde is survived by her husband Sonny Arsenault; her children - Karin, Susan, Michael, Cheryl, and Cynthia, as well as their spouses; fifteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and her beloved huskie Mya. She is predeceased by her son Robert.
