Janet Parker Obituary

Janet L. "Jan" (Tower) Parker, 72, of New Boston, died on December 14, 2023, at her home after a brief illness. She was born on December 16, 1950, in Grasmere, the daughter of the late Robert and Vanessa (Shatney) Tower.

She was raised in Goffstown and attended Goffstown schools, graduating from Goffstown High School, class of 1969. In 1972 she married William Parker, and they enjoyed 51 years of marriage, residing in New Boston for 43 years. She was employed for over 25 years in the accounting department of Verizon. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were her world. She gave of herself to many people and causes throughout her lifetime.

Janet is survived by her husband, William Parker, Sr. of New Boston; her sons William Parker, Jr. and his wife Jennifer, of New Boston, and Shaun Parker and his partner Barbara Warren, of New Boston; her daughter-in-law Carolyn (Payne) Parker of Goffstown, her grandchildren, Kaden, Cameron, Maddison, and Logan Parker, her step-grandchildren, Brady and Carter Frost, her sister, Beverly Moller and her husband David Moul of Contoocook, her sisters-in-law, Deborah Tower of Jensen Beach ,Florida, Beatrice Tower of Goffstown, Linda Desjardins of North Fort Myers, Florida, and Laurie Basham and her husband George of Rochester, her brother-in-law, Dana Parker and his wife Donna of Concord; as well as many nieces and nephews ,great nieces and great nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Vanessa Tower, her son, Kenneth Parker, and her brothers, Robert Tower, Jr., Richard Tower, Rodney Tower, Walter Tower, and Douglas Tower, her nephews Steven Tower and Christopher Tower, her niece Pamela Cere, her mother-in-law and father-in-law Helen and Oliver Parker, and her brother-in-law Stephen Parker.

Calling hours will be held Friday, December 29, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm with a funeral starting at 4pm at French and Rising Funeral Home,17 South Mast Street, Goffstown, New Hampshire.
