John Daniel Buttrick

1988 - 2020

John Daniel Buttrick, 32, passed away unexpectedly at Dartmouth Hitchcock in Lebanon, NH on December 6, 2020. Born on October 13, 1988 in Nashua, NH he is the son of Bruce and Nora (Martin) Buttrick.

John was educated locally, at the Villa Augustina in Goffstown, St Joseph's Jr High School in Manchester, and Goffstown High School class of 2007. He received an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice from NHTI Concord NH in 2009.

John was most recently employed as a Telecommunications Technician - Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center - Lebanon NH and prior as Dispatcher - Goffstown Police Department, Security Officer - Concord Hospital and Stock Clerk at Sully's Superette - Goffstown.

John loved to spend time outdoors with his family and friends. He loved to snowmobile and would spend as much time on the trails as he could. He had hiked all 48 of the 4000 foot mountains in NH with his family. John was a member of the Goffstown Police Explorers for many years. He was a firearms enthusiast with prior membership in the Pioneer Sportsmen Club in Dunbarton NH. He was a current member of the Uncanoonuc Mountaineers Snowmobile Club in Goffstown.

He is survived by his wife Sarah Blanchette, his parents Nora and Bruce Buttrick, his brother Robert Buttrick and his wife Candace Robinson Buttrick and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. His smile and good cheer will forever be missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations in John's memory be made to the Goffstown Police Explorers 326 Mast Rd Goffstown NH 03045.
