John Connolly Obituary
He was born in New York City on June 24, 1933 to John and Isabel (Smyth) Connolly. He was raised in New Jersey and graduated from Queen of Peace High School, North Arlington, New Jersey in 1951; from the University of Notre Dame in 1955; and from the University of Chicago Graduate school of Business in 1961. He and his family have resided in Manchester since 1966.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Marjorie Cochrane in 2018; and is survived by children John Connolly and wife Lynn of Exeter, NH; Robina Schepp and husband Mark of Middletown, NJ; James Connolly and wife Maryanne of Weare, NH; Patrick Connolly and wife Diane of Hooksett, NH; Mary Mitchell and husband John of Rye, NH and Thomas Connolly and wife Jennifer of Copley, Ohio. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, will be Friday from 4 to 7 pm. A funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday at 10:30 am in St. Joseph Cathedral. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
Donations can be made to 40 days for Life, or the Good Counsel Home for Women, 600 Meadowlands Parkway, Suite 251, Secaucus, NJ 07094.
