Dear Marge and family,
We were sorry to hear of the news of John's passing. He was a great guy and we had lots of good times together, especiallly in the "old days" up in Dingleberry. He was a wonderful friend to Uncle William, Aunt Eileen, and the whole Mooney clan. We just know that he is up in heaven now having fun with Red and Eileen. He will be missed by all of us here, but rest assured that he is in a better place and is at peace. Please accept our condolences and know that John will be in our prayers. Love,
Nancy and Danny Schuster and

Dear Margie - It's hard to believe so much time has passed; card games until the wee hours, midnight Mass in the lower church, the races at Foxboro (good old Juanita Cress), etc. Saddened to hear of John's death; fewer and fewer of us each day. Peggy will welcome John in heaven and they'll have some good laughs. My best to you and the family.

Dear Margie and the 7 J's (Jay, Jamie, Jerry, Jeff, Joe, Joel and Jorie): Please accept my deepest sympathies. I was so sad to hear about John. He'll always have a special place in my heart. Some of my fondest (and funniest) childhood memories are of our times with you at the farm (cows, sledding, cows, Colin's Pond, the Guffer, cows, football, more cows, Pepper & OJ, Thanksgiving, card games,Tab, company eggs, and oh, the cows); and at the cape (bunk beds, BBQ's -serving John the rubber hotdog, cards, King Joe, the original "Barney" - Barney Google, and horse shoes).

Dear Marge and children,

After losing my David on the 14th I felt so bad when I heard that your husband/father passed away. I can never forget all the "kids" on Mayfield Rd. and down the street all playing together in one of our yards, in the field at McLeod's, gibbet hill and in and out of all our homes. We were always open to whoever came by, the Millers, the Macks, the McLeods, the Gosselins, us Crambs and you Longs. 32 kids in six homes--what a record!!! Added to that, the Lavignes on the other corner. Maybe he is with David, and my Frank, card buddy, joking around. We will all be together one day, Mayfield, upstairs. Praying for all of you.
Love, Barbara

Dear Long Family:

Very saddened to hear of your loss. I have many fond memories of the Long clan and visiting the Long Estate in Danbury as a kid. John always kept people smiling - especially big Joe! (Can still picture John trying to scare us without his teeth in to quiet us down). Everyone should be blessed with a friend like John was to my parents.
